Bridging the gap between architecture and interior design, they possess an extraordinary eye for detail and unwavering commitment to style. Joe Rooz has been a practicing architect for 40 years. Deanne Rooz has been working as an interior designer for almost 40 years. Together they bring 80 years experience to all projects. Now joined by their son, Jeremy Rooz, a talented architect in his own right, the practice enters an exciting new chapter. With a fresh perspective and a deep understanding of the Rooz design philosophy, Jeremy brings a contemporary edge to the studio’s timeless approach—ensuring the family legacy continues to evolve with innovation, passion, and integrity.

MEET JOE.
– Architect
The size and scope, of Joe’s 40 years of experience in architecture, ranges from medium-size, remodels to large-scale, multi-million dollar custom-homes and commercial properties. Completed projects include Italianate, Mediterranean, Craftsman and Contemporary style homes located throughout greater Sydney. Joe works with his clients to cultivate a design that will ultimately infuse style and sophistication with a comfortable living or workspace.
His services include: developing floor plans and layouts for clients to maximise their living spaces. Add-on renovations or building from the ground. Working with builders and engineers so all council proposals, certifications and regulations are met. Project Management, creating a seamless relationship with the client and trades to ensure the project is completed to all objectives.
Every project is created from each clients’ unique needs, including; lifestyle, location and architectural surroundings, seamlessly translated with an exquisite design sensibility, to create elegant yet liveable spaces.
MEET DEANNE.
– INTERIOR DESIGNER
Almost 40 years experience in interior design and project management, has given Deanne a discriminating eye to mix period and contemporary furnishings, with a fresh approach.
Her services include: working with architects and builders to cultivate the perfect design for her client (room and electrical layout, hardware and appliances). Designing bespoke joinery, furniture, and soft furnishings. Curating furniture and décor for clients. Styling all new and existing pieces in residential and commercial properties to create a-new or add to the current aesthetic.
